Trying to catch up
Some people have actually noticed that I haven't been blogging. One person even said it made her sad that I don't blog any more. Well, I can't make my readers sad... that just won't do. So here's a catch-up with my promise to blog regularly again.
Calum is doing very well in grade one after a somewhat rocky start. This week he even brought home an achievement award - yay Calum! He is carrying on with swimming lessons twice a week, for which his poor parents drag their sorry butts out of bed to get him to the pool by 7:30 am. He also takes diving lessons on Saturday mornings, at the slightly more civilized hour of 9 am, and is finding them tremendously fun.
Megan is her usual anime-crazed (well, Japan-crazed, really) self. She is helping out with some of the sewing and prop-making for the costumes that are taking shape for the next anime convention. She is taking Japanese classes on Saturdays and doing very well this year in grade seven. Kids start high school in grade 8 here in BC (not sure if I've mentioned this oddity before) so recently she got to pick out her classes for next year. The idea of having a kid in high school makes me feel really strange.
OK, we are off to a friend's house for dinner so more later!

Your update, while very happily read, left me needing more. MORE. MORE! Please post more.

It's like drugs or something. Give it to me. ;)
Um...this post is 2 weeks old. How is this keeping your promise to post regularly?
