he's a multi-talented guy

Today, in spite of having a very stuffy head and feeling generally miserable, Jeff hauled himself out of bed and made some pastry that I can eat. You see, I can't make regular pastry to save my life, let alone make the bizarre concoction of grain-free flours that Jeff has figured out to make a pastry that I can eat and that will actually hold together. Luckily, I managed to marry a guy who can throw together pie pastry any time, no matter how cruddy he's feeling. We just got done with the holiday baking and I'm pleased to report that Jeff is an awesome pastry maker. We now have two bumbleberry pies and a dozen mincemeat tarts.
