Halfway home
We are back on Canadian soil now - got in a few hours ago. My mother's incredibly kind and patient friend picked us up from the unbelievably crowded Toronto airport and dropped us at her house. The first thing I did after depositing my sleeping son on the couch was call Swiss Chalet for delivery. They got our food to us in record time. This makes me happy after a very, very long day of travelling.
It was a good trip, but not great because unfortunately the kids and I were quite tired of travelling and feeling pretty homesick the whole time we were away. I did not physically feel good a lot of the time either. We did a lot of neat things and have some interesting memories and souvenirs, and I'll write more about the trip later once I've dug out my trip diary (for which I had to resort to pen and paper - gasp!!)
