rain, rain, go away

You probably already know that it rains a lot here. Well, here's proof of that.

North Vancouver residents remain on standby

(You might need to register to read that -- sorry)

This is our 25th straight day of rain, and there is a high risk for another mudslide in North Vancouver this weekend. On any given day I don't know whether there will be sections of road flooded out while I'm driving my family members around from place to place. Liberal amounts of water pour down the hilly streets. And you know what? I am just so thrilled that this is not snow, that I really don't mind it at all.

Could be worse ... you could be in Prince Rupert, winner of the dubious honours of least sunshine, most rain, most wet days, etc.
