update

I realize I haven't updated in a while - sorry about that. It's been a busy week. Jeff's dad had his surgery last Wednesday and apparently it went very well, and he was released from the hospital on Saturday. We haven't had much news from Jeff's family but maybe he'll be able to give them a call this weekend, as he's been at work all day and evening pretty well every day since going back to work on Jan 3rd.

We've been continuing with our seemingly endless round of dental appointments, getting fillings and consulting with specialists. Jeff and I are scheduling wisdom tooth removal during early February. Megan gets fitted for braces on Monday. Gee, fun.

Calum sees a pediatric opthalmologist about his eye on February 14 so I won't have much news about that until then.

We celebrated Jeff's and my 11th anniversary on Friday with dinner out at a Japanese restaurant. We all had fun trying some new dishes. Megan liked the miso soup and tempura vegetables best, and Calum gobbled up most of the edamame. On Monday it was Jeff's birthday, but he had to work all day and evening (see above) so we decided to celebrate the day before.

I don't seem to have anything witty to say this morning but at least now you know what's up!
