A fishy day

Yesterday we got a spontaneous invitation from friends to join them for an hour or so at the aquarium, and so we ended up buying a family membership. We expect to be spending some fun time there this year. Calum is little enough that his last visit to the aquarium, about a year ago, is not a clear memory, so it was fun to see him enjoy the place with his typical enthusiasm. He *loved* looking at the fish. The octopus, which has always been hiding before when we've visited, came out from its hiding place and gave us a real show, slowly exploring the glass walls of its tank. This was probably the high point for Jeff and Calum, who walked around together and appeared to be utterly absorbed by everything they saw.

For some reason I didn't take any photos but I will do so on our next visit.
