we are awash!

Well, I got my wish! There was a lot of "precipitation" forecast for Sunday, but luckily the temperatures stayed high and instead of snow we got rain. It has been raining buckets all day... it's unbelievable. Of course, this is making the snow melt so there's water, water everywhere. The (unpaved) parking lot at Calum's preschool is a mushy mess. The streets have rivers of water pouring down them. As for me, I'm staying put inside till this abates - unlike the two men I saw jogging in the downpour this afternoon!

I hear by Thursday we should be getting temperatures up to 12 degrees celsius... I can definitely deal with that, and hope that the rain lets up a little so we can head outside and enjoy it.
