We have these bushes outside our kitchen window that are covered in red berries. Since the snow, our yard has become the local gathering place for the robin population. It's so cool to see these happy, fat birds filling up on berries in the middle of January! Definitely not something we experienced in Ontario, where the smart robins would disappear till milder weather came along.

It's been a fun week. Wednesday night we had a mandatory parent meeting at Megan's school and hired an Open Space facilitator to come. I'm very interested in Open Space and this was my first experience with such a large group (80-100 people). It was amazing and very productive.

Yesterday we acquired a Playstation 2 console so I guess I know how I'll be spending my weekend... mediating between the kids who want to use this great new toy, and trying to get time playing on it myself.
