Keeping in touch

I have received so many wonderful long chatty emails from people over the past week -- thanks!! -- and I am worried that you might think I am ignoring you. I am hampered by having a limited amount of computer time (since my kids usually get bored and Calum starts bugging Megan and Kira or doing naughty things when he gets bored) and by currently not being able to send outgoing mail from my usual email program. There's something about the internet connection in the hotel that won't relay outgoing mail to my SMTP server, but I can download messages just fine; so I have to try and log into the webmail and send my reply from there. The webmail thing has been unreliable recently.

Anyway, I will try really hard to reply to everyone individually but please forgive me and don't think I am being impersonal if I just write about things here until I get a handle on stuff. I very much want to stay connected to all of you.

That said, if you happen to catch me online I am on both AOL instant messenger (nickname is calumbeag6) and MSN messenger (username calumbeag2) and not too busy for a chat most mornings :-)
