Our family is participating (again) in the Katimavik family billet program. We picked up our latest guest last night, a very nice young lady from Calgary who will be staying with us for two weeks. Within a short time of picking her up, we realized that she is a perfect fit for us. She saw our Michael Whelan prints and our Star Trek calendar and overcame her initial shyness to say she was "really excited" to be here. We then had a discussion about fantasy and science fiction novels. I've already decided to take her to Seattle next weekend -- finally, a house guest who can appreciate the Science Fiction Museum as much as we do!
