The glasses

Well, I picked them up last night, came home and sat down at the computer to chat with a friend. Within half an hour I noticed a difference - like my eyes were slowly relaxing from their usual seized-up position. So that's good. However, I think it's going to take a while for me to get used to having these things in my field of vision that I'm supposed to ignore (I'm talking about the glasses frames, of course.) After quizzing a couple of people who wear glasses, I hear this is normal and that I'll learn to not notice how everything looks blurry around the edges of the lenses.
