update
Wow, the weeks pass so quickly and I just don't remember to write anything here. I will try and make this quick.
I got my "official" acceptance letter from Simon Fraser University and have made an appointment to speak to an advisor on Wednesday. Hopefully she will be able to help me out with choosing some courses. I need to get some kind of math credit which I think will be a huge challenge, considering how long it's been since I took grade 11 math, and how awful it was. Urgh.
We have decided that we will sell our van if we can get a reasonable price for it. Joining the cooperative auto network should help to make this a little less scary, but it just feels like the right thing to do. We will be able to pay for university and hopefully still have a little left over every month.
Jeff had a very positive review at work last week and we are very happy that his hard work has been recognized. Yay Jeff! He got a nice raise too, which is never a bad thing.
Calum is going on a field trip to the planetarium on Wednesday with his preschool class. He is going on a big bus and needs to bring a lunch. He'll be gone for 5 hours. This is a really big deal for such a little guy!
Megan is mostly homeschooling at the moment - getting to school has become more challenging since the school bus was cancelled at the end of February. This is a real bummer and we are hearing news that her school may lose its funding altogether by the end of this year. We are going with the flow and having faith that things will work out... not sure what else we can do.
