I "needed" to replace my digital camera last week because the one I'd been using up till now finally took its last, out-of-focus picture shortly before we left for our trip and I couldn't imagine going to the UK in August without one. It's been fun learning how to use this new toy with all its spiffy features. I'm not too good at close-ups yet but on Saturday evening I met up with a couple of friends in the village of Elora, about an hour from here, and I'm really impressed with the shots I got there.
