update

Well, Jeff is home safely. His flight landed late in Seattle, so he missed his shuttle and we ended up having to pick him up after midnight. I left the house shortly after 11 pm and got home around 1 am. We were all very, very tired so I didn't get to hear much from Jeff about his trip. More time for that today, I hope.

Unfortunately for me, although I didn't get to sleep till 1:30, I had to get up this morning to drive the kids in our carpool to school, even though Megan will be staying home today in order to sleep and continue recuperating from whatever is causing her to cough a lot. (She has been using the "puffers" prescribed by the doctor on Monday religiously, and it helps a LOT with keeping the coughing to a manageable level so long as she avoids dairy products, which set off noticeable coughing fits). So this is the down side of being in a carpool, I guess!

I'll post more once I have talked to Jeff.
