Happy post-Halloween!

Well, so I'm a couple of days late but Happy Halloween anyway.

We had a nice low-key day. Jeff took the kids to his company Halloween party for kids, which he said was absolutely insane. But they had a great time. As soon as it got dark, we took them out trick or treating. We discovered that our neighborhood is not great for trick or treating - not too many homes handing out candy, but on the plus side, the ones who were gave out handfuls of stuff instead of just one thing.

Megan dressed up as a purple fairy and Calum was a Ninja Turtle. I have no batteries for my digital camera (d'oh!) so no pics unfortunately :-(

Jeff's company has decided yet again to stretch the deadline for his current project so now who knows when it will be done. Jeff says he thinks the work hours will be a little better, but we'll have to see how things go. We've become so used to him not being around evenings; it'll be a bit strange when the project ends and he starts coming home early enough to actually be here with us.
